Wildlife photographer of the year exhibit

Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition’s North American premiere was uncovered at an event earlier this morning at Royal Ontario Museum. The Museum arranges the exhibit from 23rd November, 2013 to 23rd March, 2014 in ROM’s Level 3, Centre Block.

The exhibit is based on a recognized photography contest, a partnership between London’s National History Museum and BBC Worldwide. Originating forty nine years ago, the WPY is now considered as one of the NHM’s longest running and most successful exhibitions. Canadian Geographic is a programming partner and media sponsor for ROM engagement.

Rosamund Kidman Cox told that the artistry, imagination and skill on show reveal that wildlife photography can be a true art form. Congratulations to the Centre of Biodiversity at the ROM on their North American debut of this important exhibition.

According to reports, ROM Biodiversity’s managing director Dave Ireland told that the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibit shows excellence in science communication, with breathtaking images by the world’s best photographers. Centre of Biodiversity at the ROM is proud to present the North American premiere of the show.

iLCP Conservation Photographer and Environmental Visual Communication Program Director Neil Ever Osborne told that they look forward to co presenting lectures, workshops as well as other engagements scopes with Canadian Geographic, ROM Biodiversity and others for this exhibit that offers an important program to explore the links among science, art as well as academia for their faculty, students as well as ROM visitors.
