Making in-sure: Why Car Insurance is a must
One undeniable truth about modern life in the UK is that driving is an established part of the everyday routine and hugely important for those who rely on their cars. In fact, in 2006, 81% of men and 63% of women in Great Britain held a full car driving licence.
There is, then, a clear majority of those who do drive as opposed to those who don’t. This highlights that, despite small fluctuations, there has been a steady rise in the number of drivers on the UK’s roads for many years – when the statistics are compared with the same numbers 30 years earlier, only 29% of women and 69% of men could legally drive.
Surprisingly, an increase in other forms of travel hasn’t altered the steady increase in the usage of cars. In terms of road travel for example, bus and coach traffic increased by 53% between 1980 and 2006, motorcycle traffic increased by 38% between 1996 and 2006 and even pedal cycle traffic, between 2000 and 2006, grew from 4.2 to 4.6 billion vehicle kilometres, the highest since 1992.
The majority of the growth in road usage, however, has been in car traffic. Since 1980, there has been an 87% rise, with 402 billion kilometers being traveled in 2006 by cars alone. It seems they remain, and become increasingly, essential to the average Brit. This need to drive, however, can have unfortunate effects. With so many people contributing to road usage, a certain number of collisions are obviously expected. In 2006, there were around 189,000 road accidents, with around £8 billion of insurance claims to compensate for the resulting damage.
Accidents are so prevalent because there are so many causes, from falling asleep to adverse weather conditions, from playing music to tiredness, from drink and drugs to using mobile phones. Even a whole range of animals have been blamed for accidents. Motorists have blamed cats, dogs, deer, rabbits and even bees for causing accidents from which claims have been made.
There are, however, plans to construct a car that is effectively ‘crash proof’. Volvo are developing a vehicle that, aside from having the best in-vehicle safety systems, will actually be able to avoid crashing at all, by monitoring other road users and avoiding hazards, even being able to move out of the path of other cars when in danger. Although the car will not be on general sale for a few years, it represents the continued efforts to protect not only drivers and passengers, but vehicles too.
Until then, car insurance will continue to be the only option to protect against accidental damage. Indeed, it is illegal to drive without having protection, due to the sheer number of accidents every day that have to be paid for. With driving maintaining its importance for so many of the UK’s population, minor mishaps will, inevitably, continue to be a danger, so drivers should be covered when those mishaps happen.

Convert Water Into Hydrogen For Your Car
As a creature of habit, we were brought up driving gas-guzzling cars and trucks and would like to continue to do so. Unfortunately, with today’s fuel prices, that is becoming very expensive. If we can just break out of the old mindset, that things can’t change and that includes our automobiles, we can help ourselves.
The modern automobile is no different than it’s predessor in that it is designed to run on gasoline or diesel and with a few creature comforts that have been added, remains unchanged. We all know that gasoline is flammable, or that it will burn. But, did you know that hydrogen, the lightest element on Earth and one of the most prevalent will burn? It certainly will. Do you remember the old film of the dirigible Hindenburg as it exploded and burned? Most of us have seen it many times. You see, the Germans filled it with hydrogen instead of the inert gas helium as hydrogen, being lighter, would lift more weight. Well, a spark ocurred and the Hindenburg with it’s load of hydrogen detonated. Very dangerous in the wrong place. And, gasoline is very explosive and dangerous if not controlled.
Back to hydrogen though. If hydrogen will burn, and the is easily found, why can’t we just burn it in our car? We can. There are cars designed that run entirely on hydrogen. Very expensive too. Maybe, they will be affordable in a decade or so. In the meantime, the automobile we drive today can be made to run on a mixture of gasoline or diesel, air, which is free, and a regulated amount of hydrogen that is added to the mixture. The hydrogen replaces some of the gasoline or diesel and thus saves us money as we need less gasoline to propel our car.
Where do we get the hydrogen? Well, as it turns out, it is in the water we drink and bathe in. Water is composed of hydrogen and oxygen. We just need to separate some of it and off we go! The method used by many is to use electricity created by your automobile to separate the hydrogen from water as you drive along.
There is more information on my website to explain the process and how you can get detailed plans and help. It is designed for anyone to understand and use.

How to Make Money and Rank #1 With Blogs
So, im sure the secret is out that blogs are the best thing to use to make money on the internet these days. Blogs are easy to create, fun to use and can really help out your search engine rankings. Another plus about blogs is that whenever you want to make a change to your blog you only have to use a template and delete from there as apposed to going through the whole changing process with a regular website.
Today, I would like to share with you some of the ways that you can make money with blogs and how to rank them well in the search engines as well. Hopefully after you are done reading this article you will be able to set up a perfect blog to start making money with and have it ranked in the search engines in no time!
The first thing you want to do is find a good niche that you can make your blog about. The main purpose of having a blog is to give others information on things that you know about or learn about. Blogs should always be informative because this is what the business is about. When you choose a niche, start with one that has low competition that way you won’t get frustrated with trying to get your blog to rank well in the search engines. Once you find the perfect formula on how to get your blog ranked then you can move onto a more popular niche.
Once you get your blog set up with content that is about your niche you are then ready to start bringing traffic towards it. It can really be frustrating trying to get so much traffic to your blog because you never know which way is going to work the best for you. The method that I use that works great is article marketing. You can get benefits from it in two different ways and that is with traffic and backlinks. You will need backlinks in order to rank high in the search engines. The more backlinks you have the higher the search engine ranking you will have.
The best way to use article marketing is by making a good author resource box. Don’t write a story about your self or anything because people have short attention spans these days. Make sure that your links back to your blog are in your author resource box with anchor texts. Make sure that you use the main keyword you are trying to rank well for in the anchor text.
Its best to constantly keep your blog updated and ping it as it will get indexed very quickly. With the methods above, I am sure that you won’t have a problem getting your blog ranked well in the search engines in less then a month.

Search engine optimization is the process of optimizing the ranking of web site in search engine listings. The most important factors to consider achieving a high ranking are: the keywords used, title & description, the text of site, and the links others provide to the site.
Keywords:
These are the words or phrases which people used for searching in search engines. Used more than one keyword in keyword tag as it gives more results in search engine. It is also a good idea to produce a list of keyword phrases for every page of your site.
Title:
You should place your most important keyword phrases first in your title. It is a good idea to give each page a unique title. Most search engines place the highest level of importance on the words found in the title when calculating the ranking.
Description:
In your description you should once again make use of your best keyword phrases.
In the description you can place more keywords of your site as in title tag there are limitations for the keywords, so place your keywords as close to the beginning of your description as makes sense.
Text:
In the text of your site you should make use of your keywords & phrases. As well as you should use the text used in other tags like Meta tags, alt tags, and headings. Having many pages of content also increases your rankings.

Having many other sites link to you is another good way to increase your search rankings. Both the links themselves and the increase traffic which results will help. Also, having bloggers link to your site is a good idea.
These are the things which matters while ranking the web site in search engine optimization and also some of the design elements like frames, URLs, Flash, navigations. Also, there are certain practices that search engines regard as spamming, and these practices will get you permanently removed from the site. These include using keywords in your Meta tags that do not relate to the content of your page, using multiple instances of the same tag.

Parents Control What Their Children Watch On Television
Television violence is an issue that’s troubled parents and educators for almost as long as the medium has existed. The basic questions of how much violence is harmful to a child’s impressionable mind, and how much exposure to violence actually begets violence by children in real life, has been argued for decades.
Massive efforts to either give television programs ratings or curtail the amount of violence and other “adult” subject matter have made great inroads in making both broadcast and cable television safer for children.
Parents should use warnings and ratings at their discretion.
Television ratings are meant to serve as guidelines to what parents should allow their children to watch. They should not be taken as objective evaluations of a given program’s material or social redeeming importance. Parents should also remain aware that some violence is necessary to depict a greater educational lesson. For example, a movie about World War II is almost certain to contain some violence that is nevertheless necessary for purposes of historical accuracy.
Just the same, there are instances where too much viewing of television violence has allowed that violence to cross over into the real world.
How much is too much?
The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry warns that too much violence witnessed within the make believe of television can create problems for children in distinguishing what is acceptable social behavior and what is not. Symptoms of this desensitization include an emotional numbness to acts of violence around them and a decreased sense of self-restraint.
Children may also come to identify with the victims or victimizers witnessed on violent television programs and act accordingly. In some cases children may even act out the violence they watch. Studies show that children who watch too much violent television are more prone to lash out or become involved in physical confrontations at school.
Policing your children’s viewing habits.
The two most effective mans of reducing children’s exposure to violent television are simple: limit the amount of television they watch, and monitor what they’re watching. Parents can also explain to children how television violence is frequently unrealistic in its situations and results. Children should understand that violence is often used a means of creating suspense or indicating where audience sympathies should focus.
Parents also have the prerogative to turn a program off if they feel the violence has become too graphic, too sensational, or too gratuitous in its occurrence or presentation.
